And my head is swimming - like most decorating projects, as soon as I start to imagine the process, two instantaneous panic attacks hit: How on Earth do you fit that kind of project into the budget? I'm like you - I'll go without and make do with furniture left over from college before I'll go into debt decorating my home. So it's a big emotional fear, I guess. I've mentally labeled decorating as Expensive, so I have a hard time nailing down actual numbers that can be worked into a budget. When do you find time for shopping, fixing, rearranging, and putting it all together? I can't even imagine trying to create the time to go furniture shopping, or curtain shopping, or whatever else with little ones in tow. Any suggestions for finding the time for your projects?
